Summer opportunites for jazz band

 There is going to be a summer R&R Jazz Band Camp on June 8-12 from 9:00-11:00a.m. at Christ's Episcopal Church in Castle Rock.  I will be teaching the camp along with another music teacher.  There will be a performance at the church at 11:00 on Friday following the rehearsal.  The cost is $60 for the week-long camp.  This camp will be taught by Randy Stahl who teaches elementary band at Clear Sky, Meadow View, and Soaring Hawk in the CastleView Feeder area.   Please contact Randy for further information! 

R & R Summer Jazz Band Camp

Students have the opportunity to learn jazz music this summer.  Experienced music teachers Roy Bailey and Randy Stahl will teach students a variety of jazz styles and jazz history along with improvisation. 

WHO:  Elementary or middle school band students interested in learning jazz.  Students who have experience playing the piano or guitar may play these instruments in jazz band.

WHEN:   Monday, June 8 Interested in playing jazz this summer?

through Friday, June 12 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.   There will be a performance at the church on Friday at 11:00 following the rehearsal.
