Spring Concert Details!

Spring EBOP Concert

The Spring EBOP concert is scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2018 6:00pm HRHS Auditorium. 
The Spring EBOP concert includes all EBOP students Beginning and Advanced, Band and Orchestra/Strings. The evening will include a fabulous concert and lots of fun! 

 Students do not need to bring their own music stand.

Please make sure your student has eaten and has proper hydration before arriving.

Students should plan to arrive at 5:00pm for a brief rehearsal.

When EBOP groups are not in the auditorium rehearsing or performing they will report to:
  • Beginning EBOP Band will report to the Band Room
  • Advanced EBOP Band will report to Choir Room
  • Beginning EBOP Orchestra/Strings will report to the Orchestra Room
  • Advanced EBOP Orchestra/Strings will report to the Ensemble Room 
Here is an informal outline of the evening’s activities:
5:00 PM                    Students report to specified rooms above
5:15-5:45 PM            Students rehearse in specified rooms above
6:00 PM                     Concert Begins in the HRHS Auditorium
7:15ish PM                Concert Ends

All students and families are expected to stay for the entire concert.

Concert Dress:  
  • Black bottoms (pants or long skirt)
  • Black socks/hose
  • Black shoes
  • Blue EBOP T-shirts (all students received their shirt at the beginning of the school year)

Strings Camp This Weekend

EBOP Orchestra Families,

This is a reminder for the HRHS Strings Camp - It's not too late to register!
  • Friday, February 2nd from after school to 8:00pm
  • Saturday, February 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Any students in grades 5 - 8 who play a stringed instrument (4th grade currently enrolled in EBOP are welcome and encouraged to attend)
  • Rehearsals, sectionals, a conducting workshop, performances by high school musicians, classes on how to tune your own instrument, hold your bow correctly, and how to produce a professional quality sound
  • Fun activities planned by the HRHS Orchestra Student Council such as games, races and even a tour of the school
  • Dinner will be provided Friday night, snacks will be provided throughout the camp, lunch will be provided on Saturday.
  • Final camp concert for family and friends at the close of the camp

This will be a great time for your student to learn new musical concepts on their instrument, meet other peers that play the same instrument but may be in a different class or grade, and put together a fun and challenging concert with just two days of hard work and practice.

EBOP Strings Opportunity

EBOP Orchestra Families,

We wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity to attend our Annual Strings Camp at Highlands Ranch High School.
  • Friday, February 2nd from after school to 8:00pm
  • Saturday, February 3rd from 10:00am to 3:00pm
  • Any students in grades 5 - 8 who play a stringed instrument

Welcome Back!

Hello EBOP Families! 

We hope you had a wonderful break.
Just a few reminders to start off second semester:
  1. Classes have started! (We resumed EBOP classes this past Monday)
  2. There will be no classes on DCSD PLC days or Holidays. (1/12 and 1/15)
  3. If the District calls a "late start" or "no school" EBOP will be canceled for the day.
  4.  SAVE THE DATE. Our next EBOP concert is Monday, March 5th @ 6:00pm in the Highlands Ranch High School Auditorium. This concert will feature All Beginning and Advanced EBOP Students from All Elementary Schools in both Band and Orchestra. More details will be sent in a few weeks.

  • Monday, January 8, 2018 EBOP resumes
  • Friday, January 12 & Monday, January 15 DCSD No School = No Classes
Winter will show up in an instant so please remember...
If Douglas County Schools have "Late Start" or "School is Cancelled"
due to weather conditions, there will be NO EBOP classes

The Holidays are a wonderful time to enjoy local musical performances
We hope you will consider joining us for the
Highlands Ranch High School Winter Showcase
This enchanting event features Holiday Classics performed by a variety of
Band, Choir, and Orchestra ensembles
December 15th at 7:00pm and December 16th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm
Reserved seats may be purchased for $5 at hrhsthespians.com
Friday, December 1st through 12noon on Thursday, December 14th
Any remaining seats will be first come, first serve
30 minutes before the performance begins
(While it is not required to purchase reserved seats, it is encouraged.
We have had to turn guests away due to the capacity of our auditorium)
