Please be aware of the calendar coming up!

  • Friday, December 8, 2017 Last EBOP class before Winter Break
  • Monday, December 11, 2017 - Friday, January 5, 2018 NO CLASSES
  • Monday, January 8, 2018 EBOP resumes
  • Friday, January 12 & Monday, January 15 DCSD No School = No Classes
Winter will show up in an instant so please remember...
If Douglas County Schools have "Late Start" or "School is Cancelled"
due to weather conditions, there will be NO EBOP classes

The Holidays are a wonderful time to enjoy local musical performances
We hope you will consider joining us for the
Highlands Ranch High School Winter Showcase
This enchanting event features Holiday Classics performed by a variety of
Band, Choir, and Orchestra ensembles
December 15th at 7:00pm and December 16th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm
Reserved seats may be purchased for $5 at hrhsthespians.com
Friday, December 1st through 12noon on Thursday, December 14th
Any remaining seats will be first come, first serve
30 minutes before the performance begins
(While it is not required to purchase reserved seats, it is encouraged.
We have had to turn guests away due to the capacity of our auditorium)

REMINDERS

We hope everyone enjoyed the concerts!
It was wonderful to see how the students
have developed their talents.

Next week is Thanksgiving Break
Since there is no school all next week
11/20/17 - 11/24/17
There will be no EBOP classes

Please enjoy the extra time with family
and don't forget to practice!

Concert Information-Band 11/6, Orchestra 11/9

Band Feeder Festival 2017
Monday, November 6, 2017 at 6:30pm, HRHS Gymnasium 

 PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MUSIC STAND

Elementary Students should plan to arrive at 5:30pm.

Each EBOP group will be in a specific room when they are not rehearsing or performing.
  • Beginning EBOP Cases in the Ensemble Room
  • Advanced EBOP Cases in the Choir Room
Here is an informal outline of the evening’s activities:
5:30 PM                    Elementary Students report to specified rooms above.
5:40-6:00 PM            Elementary Students rehearse in the gym.
6:00-6:20 PM            Elementary Students warm-up in specified rooms and receive t-shirts
6:30 PM                    Concert Begins, HRHS gymnasium
7:45ish PM               Concert Ends

All students are expected to stay for the entire concert

Concert Dress:  
Elementary School Students:
  • Black bottoms (pants or long skirt)
  • Black socks/hose
  • Black shoes
  • EBOP T-shirts (New EBOP students will receive their shirt the night of the concert)

Orchestra Feeder Festival 2017
Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6:30pm, HRHS Gymnasium

 PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MUSIC STAND

  • Elementary Students should plan to arrive at 4:00pm.
  • Orchestra Boosters will serve a pizza dinner for the students before the concert.
  • Concert attire will be our EBOP blue shirt (will be provided at the concert) with nicer jeans and tennis shoes.

Here is an informal outline of the evening’s activities:
4pm - 4:20pm       EBOP students check in to booster parents by student lot entrance
                             Beginning cases in Band room, Advanced cases in Ensemble room
                             We will provide EBOP shirt on arrival and will put it on after they eat
4:20pm - 4:30pm  Back to the room, instruments tuned, shirts on, name tag on
4:30pm - 5:30pm  Elementary Students rehearse in the gym
5:30pm - 6:00pm  All Rehearse Hoedown
6:30pm                 Concert Begins

All students are expected to stay for the entire concert

Next week is Fall Break and there will be no EBOP classes
We hope you all enjoy your break and don't forget to practice!

Please Be Aware

For Beginning EBOP:

If your elementary school does not have regular class
or "No School" due to conferences, testing or another reason
there will be "No EBOP Class" either.

For Advanced EBOP:

If there is a district wide "No School" Day
there will be "No EBOP Class" either.

For Everyone:
As we head into fall and winter...
If there is inclement weather and the
Douglas County School District calls for a "Delayed Start" 
or "No School", there will be "No EBOP Class".

Please refer to the calendar and check your emails.
However, if you have a question, feel free to reach out
at any time.

Reminders

Welcome to EBOP!

Classes have now begun for all levels of EBOP
We will begin sending out emails at the end of this week, if you have not heard from us please verify your email address to hmdavis@dcsdk12.org

Advanced EBOP - meets at HRHS
Band - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:15am to 8:10am
Orchestra - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:15am to 8:10am

Beginning EBOP - meets at your students elementary school
*all students need to have a music stand
