Today we learned our first notes on our instruments! We are now ready to learn our first song on Thursday. Super exciting! Each student also received a fingering chart that should help them find the notes on their instrument.

Our instruments are here! It's always a great day when we put our instruments together for the first time. Unfortunately, we are still waiting on a few percussion kits to arrive from Music and Arts. No worries though, we have lots of instruments to go around during class.

The instruments are coming! The instruments are coming! Our instruments should be here for Tuesday's class and we could not be more excited! 

This week we learned about basic rhythms and played games to help us with pulse. Rhythm is where everything in music begins. Once we have our instruments, we will add pitches to our rhythm.
