Good Morning!

EBOP Registration is in full swing!  It's not too late to sign up your child.  If you've already done so, thank you very much!  I am posting some general information below, but please let us know if you have any other questions.   And please tell all of your friends who may not be familiar with this fantastic program.


We invite you to join EBOP! The Elementary Band and Orchestra Program (EBOP) is offered to 4th, 5th and 6th graders who attend school within HRHS Feeder Schools.

It’s more than music!  Learning to play a musical instrument helps students become team players, increases self-discipline, make friends, learn respect for the arts, and enhance their academic performance.

 Information regarding EBOP for the school year 2019/2020
EBOP will begin for Advanced classes the week of September 3rd.  Advanced classes will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 7:15am to 8:05 am.
Beginning classes will start the week of September 9th and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15am to 8:05am.
Please make sure that students arrive to practice at least 10 minutes early.
Please note:  In the event of inclement weather during the year, whether it be a late start or closing of Douglas County Schools, there will be NO EBOP.

Buses will pick students up from EBOP and take them to their schools.  Please note that Students will need a Z-pass for that bus ride.  Z-passes can be purchased at the following link, engaged.dcsdk12.org


EBOP concerts will be:
            October 23rd – Band Feeder Fest
            November 19th – Orchestra Concert
            February 13th – Band Concert
            May 4th – Spring Concert

There will be NO FOOD served before Concerts, so please make sure that your child is well fed and well hydrated before they arrive.   
Students should be at HRHS an hour before the start of the concert.
There will be new tee shirts for all students this year.  Attire for concerts will be their tee shirt and black jeans/pants. 
When attending an EBOP concert, we respectively request that you stay for the entire concert.
