The Tour is coming!

Wow!  Already!  We are nearing the end of our year in EBOP!  We hope the students will stay focused and continue the hard work they have been doing so far!  One of the very best things about music is that there is always something new to learn!  We are very proud of them!  It's important to try to get your student to EBOP for each class, as we are preparing new music for the tour and concert.

The annual tour is coming up.  This is when we take the kids around to the Elementary schools that "feed into" HRHS.  I am including our schedule.  The dates are Monday and Tuesday, May 2 and 3.

The final concert of they year for EBOP will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.  It will begin at 6:00pm

They will need to bring a snack to eat on the bus between schools. I was not able to incorporate lunch time into either day.  Our plan is to take the kids to the park (more information to follow), weather permitting to let them play and eat their sack lunches after we visit all the schools.

It's going to be a busy schedule this year due the schools having so many end of year activities.  It was tough to get us on the schedule at every school.

We will arrive at the school, set up quickly, a few introductory remarks will be made.  We'll play a few quick pieces and put away instruments, then get on the buses to go to the next school.  We are playing for 4th-6th graders in most cases but some 3rd graders will get to listen as well.  The students are to meet at HRHS and we will load the buses and travel from school to school together.  I will be sending out more detailed information soon!

Beginning Band and Advanced Strings will visit schools on Monday.
Advanced Band and Beginning Strings will go Tuesday.
