The tour is coming!  The concert is coming!  Instrument Trial night for prospective EBOP students is coming!!  Phew!  We are busy around here!!

Reminder: NO SCHOOL FRIDAY April 22, so there will be NO EBOP

I am giving teachers packets with the following information and a permission slip beginning on Monday next week.

EBOP TOUR/YEAR END EBOP INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS

For our EBOP Tour, students should dress in their EBOP T-shirt and black pants, black shoes and socks.

Students should BRING A WIRE MUSIC STAND to use during their performances!

Students will meet at 7:15 at HRHS the day of their tour to board the buses at 8:00am. The tour will begin at 8:40.  Classes touring on May 2 will be dropped off at their school around 11:45am after the tour. Classes touring on May 3 will be dropped off at their school around 12:00 pm after the tour. All students should bring a peanut free snack and sack lunch.

On Monday, I will give permission slips to the teachers to hand out: return to your child’s instructor no later than Monday May 3, 2016. If you need to sign, scan and email the permission slip to me, please do.  My email is jayne.copland@dcsdk12.org   Please note what class your child is in.

Our Final Concert will be May 3, 2016 at 6:00pm in the HRHS Auditorium. Students should dress in concert attire - white dress shirt, black pants or long skirt, and black shoes and socks. All EBOP students will perform

A year-end performance and doughnut party is being arranged for the week of the tour.  We are working on something special so watch for additional information.  The last day of EBOP for 2015/2016 will be Thursday, May 5.

As a note - we do NOT return instruments to their vendors. If you plan on discontinuing your instrument rental, you must contact your vendor directly to make arrangements.

On Wednesday, May 11 from 5:30-7:30, we will host an instrument trial night, to be held at HRHS in the Performing Arts Department.    This will provide an opportunity for any student, 3-6^th grades to come and try an instrument.  More information to come!  Current EBOP students, if you wish up size your current instrument, please contact your instrument vendor prior to the instrument trial night.
